All Things Being Unequal

There is, in my head,

An erroneous equation:

A bad amount, a figure wrongly calculated.

It doesn’t add up. I am divided.

Difficult

Thoughts multiply like numbers.

How to subtract this pain

From the total sum of fears? Work it out

With indignation?

Give me a knife,

A drill, a trephine and mirror.

All things being unequal,

I hope to be Homo Sapiens Correctus

A radical sign marking where

A root has been extracted.
